I have Gearhead tunes on my other 6.0 Powerstroke and when I bought my second 6.0 it came with blessed tunes. The first thing I did was get rid of those and went with Gearhead again. My other truck has stock injectors and my second truck is built with larger injectors. As before, I couldn’t be happier with my truck and it’s nothing but Gearhead for me.
It is such an amazing tune, I can chirp the tires in third gear and the drive ability is very top tier. There is no turbo lag even with an oversized stage 2 kc turbo on stock injectors. Shifts very clean and smooth and gets out of overdrive when I want to get out a lot easier. Couldn’t have asked for a better tune.
Definitely very impressed with the tunes that I received. Paid for them the evening before and by 12 noon I already had them the next day very fast service as well.
I recently did a bunch of engine work to my 6.0 Powerstroke. This is the 4th one I’ve owned since 2012. I always used another tuner previously and this one was no different. I had just gotten the engine running and I could tell something was off. I spent weeks troubleshooting and pressure testing and double checking. All the while in conversation with my tuner. I finally didn’t know what else to do but get different tunes. I reached out to Gearhead and wow. My truck was back! Runs better from idle, smoke down low is almost gone, egts are lower, boost is higher. The truck runs great. Highly recommend!
2007 F350 with studs, 175/30s, KC stage 2, modified direct drive solenoid, and a Thumper I, runs amazing, shifts are on point and power is smooth, once you mash the skinny pedal to the wood then it really wakes up and takes off. Been running Gearhead since my first diesel and still the best tuning I have ever ran, had them in my 6.4 for a decade and never an issue.
Runs great throws no egr related codes and shifts great, went from SCT x4 canned 50hp to the GH SRL tune and lord it’s big difference in low to mid range and pulls longer on the topend, running on stock head bolts turbo injectors just blue spring kit and I’ve enjoyed the tune for 2 weeks, so far it’s good and rolls a little coal! Highly recommend this and so much better than canned tunes! Thanks GH!
First 6.0 diesel I have owned and have gear heads on sct x4 truck is something else I have had it tuned for 3 months know and the truck performance fantastic. With the tunes the truck will get down with the get down. Performs well and sounds great with the tunes

Package deal is a no brainer, if you want two tunes or more, and if you don’t have the X4, great deal. •SRL Tune Review- “Break-in” period was interesting. I’ve ran the same tune for the life of be truck, so around 20 years. I went through the tranny-learning process to a T. Did parked-shifting sequence and 0-60 runs at 25, 50, 75, and 100%’s. Set a trip to 0 and drove nicely for 200mi, and even then I slowly let the truck, and myself, get used to the gnarly peddle response. From an older eco tune to the SRL, what an insane difference. If you’ve never ran a performance tune from a reputable company, and nobody in the Ford world is more referred than GH. I asked a few top-tier PSD companies that I’ve known for years and trust, they all said hands down GH was the way to go for safe, clean, crisp power. So, it took me a long time to get used to the peddle response. The first 1/8 of throttle it is SO snappy. Especially when not at operating temp. Have to be very careful when I’m below 160° EOT/ECT’s. The truck, with me, and the truck, used to the tune, it’s ultra quick off the bottom and pulls like a draft horse all the way through the throttle, RPM, and powerband. It’s anything but linear. But, there is tons of response in every portion of the curve. Hard to explain. It feels like a heavy duty sports car. I’ve never felt anything like a diesel truck with this type of crisp, snappy power. I’ve driven new Superduties, and they obviously have more power and torque, but this is much more fun to drive. I’m also a Supercab Shortbed. Not sure about MPG gain or loss. I have 35” Toyo MTs on 16s, ran at 50psi, so not good mileage whatsoever already. I do drive for fun mostly, while not being obnoxious, so I’m not at the point of driving like grandma yet. I will review the tow tune when I tow my sxs or RV next. I don’t like changing tunes as I do it correctly and that takes time. In closing, I would 100% recommend this tune and/or package. The other tunes will not be used by me. I prioritize longevity and would rather let the trans be happy with one tune forever. When I have to tow, I’ll swap it a couple days before for that reason. I’m not reviewing their customer service with stars, that’s the tune. But, I will say that before purchasing, I emailed them several times with several questions. Knowing what I’m getting and being comfortable with dropping around $700 is another priority for me. I almost went with another top-tier Tune Writer. I would get one short answer that didn’t fully satisfy what I wanted to know. Like texting someone with several questions and getting a “yeah.” Was very frustrating. I honestly believe it’s probably due to how busy these guys, or he, is. Not sure. I didn’t understand some of the verbiage, and asked about the add on VGT Jake. I was told it was added to a “base tune.” But, what base tune? Obviously most would put in on their tow tune. But, did I need to ask for that specific tune to be added to? Anyway, I just figured they know what they’re doing, and busy. Also, I didn’t know I had to email once I got the SCT X4. I waited a week or more for that and read in other reviews they got their tune(s) within 24-48hrs after ordering. At the end, from ordering to emailing, then hearing back, and questions give short, non-explanation answers, and
receiving the X4, then emailing again, receiving the tune sheet, filling and returning, then receiving the tunes, getting on Nd figuring out SCT’s questionable website, then loading tunes, it took about two weeks. If you have an SCT already and all that figured, it would obviously be much easier. This is all very small stuff to me. Just trying paint a picture of my experience with Gearhead.

Cannot recommend their tunes enough, and I believe this is a great company. I was just expecting quite a bit better communication with them being talked so highly of from a few other well known top tier industry leaders.
The tunes are great, response to email questions is terrible. I've asked a question relative to the tunes with no answer for going on two weeks.
I’ve been using gearhead for years and lived there tuning and have made many purchases from them . Just ordered tunes for my 6.0 and there nothing like they used to be . Very lazy fueling. No power like the old tunes . Tried to call and email them with no response . Very disappointed

Tunes run great, I have a lot of modifications to my truck and i have some to learn about any adjustments that others like to tweak. But with all the extensive work I've done to my truck have my f350 dually flaunt its fat ass and fade away ahead in the distance to most any urban bro in his $80K car his dad bought him, while still having the capacity to tow gooseneck at full capacity. These tunes deliver that punch to do it, keeping my EGTs in check when towing and the fuel flowing when I wanna play.
IN ALL seriousness though, They run much better the the Blessed performance tunes I had uploaded previously to my Livewire, and on top I forgot to inform them i had an upgraded 100PSI MAP sensor i needed to install when I originally paid for the tunes and gave them all the details on my truck until I contacted them a month after the original tune delivery. They took care of me responding right away and not charging me any extra gees to update the files even though it was well past the given timframe to do so. They sent the updated file promptly and didnt drag me around putting me off. Ill be ordering tunes for my 7.3L Powerstroke soon as well when I get it running properly so I will/would definitely buy again
I am very satisfied with choosing gearhead tuning for my 05 f250 6.0. Its a a completely different truck compared to the canned sct tunes (night and day difference). I would definitely recommend gearhead to anyone driving a 6.0.
Truck runs so much better power comes on great very happy with the tunes and fuel mileage is surprisingly much better
Had a issue and they helped diagnosed the issue with being a bad IPR sensor. Tunes work great now !
